Great Ocean Road Health (Lorne Community Hospital Campus) is seeking applications for the role of Medical Receptionist. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the Medical Clinic and providing an exceptional standard of customer service and care. The successful applicant will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated patient focused approach in service provision. Previous medical reception experience or health service related administration experience is highly desirable.

Community Partnerships Officer (Otway Health) 

Part Time – 24 hours / week
Fixed Term – 6 months

GORH is offering an exciting opportunity for a community engagement professional to join the Community Services Team. Make positive change in your community working as a Community Partnerships Officer with Great Ocean Road Health (Otway Health Campus) and Marrar Woorn Neighbourhood House.

This 6 month role will see you working with the CFA to develop their community preparedness project as well as building programs around mental health, diversity support and ways to combat loneliness.

Key requirements for the role include a relevant qualification in health or social sciences, public health, communication or community development with experience in working in a health setting, a proven ability to develop and maintain strong networks and partnerships with key stakeholders and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of community engagement.

Second Sails Coordinator (Opportunity Shop – Otway Health Campus) 

Part Time – 32 hours / week
Fixed Term – 3 years

Great Ocean Road Health has an opening for a dynamic & enthusiastic individual for the role of Second Sails Co-ordinator. Second Sails Opportunity Shop returns its yearly profits to Great Ocean Road Health’s Otway Health site, to invest in further programming of services for the community of Apollo Bay and surrounds.

The role requires someone with a passion for community engagement, retail management and excellent leadership skills to support a dedicated team of volunteers.

The successful applicant will possess:
>> Experience in cash handling and retail, ideally pricing, selling and merchandising of donated goods
>> Experience working within a customer focused environment and demonstrating a commitment to a strong work ethic
>> Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
>> Experience in setting and achieving budgets, financial targets and fund raising for not for profit organisations (advantageous).

We require a Team Leader with a minimum of a Diploma of Children’s Services to care for up to 14 children aged approx. 18 months to 4 years.
