This week at GORH it has been business as usual for all of our patient services. There has been no cancellations as a direct result of the cyber incident.
Our wonderful staff continue to work hard in minimising impacts & ensuring medical centres, allied health, community services and urgent care centres are fully operational, with manual backup processes in place. Should this change at any time, we will post an update here.
Please be aware our emails are unavailable for receiving or sending. If you have any concerns or questions regarding the cyber security incident or need to communicate with anyone at the health services, please phone departments directly or main receptions:
Lorne Community Hospital 03 5289 4300
Otway Health 03 5237 8500
While our business systems have been impacted, we are confident wages and invoices will be paid as normal.
We would like to thank our communities for your patience & support during this very difficult event. We are being supported by all levels of government to resolve the incident & hope to have all systems back in place sometime soon.
Investigations are ongoing into the full extent of the impact affecting information technology systems. There is currently no indication that personal information has been accessed. Patient care has not been compromised.
Please help us share this information to keep the community informed. We will keep you updated and will let you know when our emails are back online.
