COVID-19 and Vaccination Information
Common Questions
Great Ocean Road Health is closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation.
With COVID-19 peak now hitting our community, here are some valuable questions answered.
Q. How to I register my positive Rapid Antigen Test (RAT)?
A. Simply report your result to the Health Department by visiting www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/report or calling 1300 651 160 (or 1800 675 398). For translations, call the hotline number and press 0.
Q. Where do I find a vaccination clinic for my 5-11 year old child?
A. You can now book the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for 5 to 11-year-olds at either your local pharmacy and some state-run sites via https://covid-vaccine.healthdirect.gov.au/booking or visit our Great Ocean Road Health vaccination booking site for upcoming clinic dates https://www.greatoceanroadhealth.com.au/covid/
Q. Am I eligible for my booster vaccine?
A. The booster dose is available to anyone aged 18 and over who had their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine more than four months ago. A COVID-19 booster helps prevent waning immunity (loss of protection) against COVID-19. Eligible people will receive the Pfizer vaccine as their booster dose. They can safely get this Pfizer dose regardless of which COVID-19 vaccine they received for their initial doses. Visit our website page https://www.greatoceanroadhealth.com.au/vaccination/ or the state run clinics to book your appointment https://bit.ly/3zrA2f6
Q. I have COVID-19 and need advice on how to manage my condition at home. Where do I find this information?
A. Visit www.coronavirus.vic.gov.au/managing-covid-19-home and follow the Department of Health guidelines.
Q. Are you feeling extremely stressed and anxious during COVID peak?
