HOW IT WORKS

Once registered with My Aged Care, an assessment will be carried out by a Service Assessment Officer where your needs are documented and a Care Plan is developed with you, your family member, or advocate.

Your Care Plan will include details of services which Great Ocean Road Health can deliver to assist with your independence and every day living.

We work with you to undertake some of the tasks that you may be finding more difficult to complete. By working alongside you, we aim to assist you to maintain your independence, allowing you to continue to live independently at home.

The regularity of this service, as well as fees and tasks to be undertaken are determined with you during your Service Specific Assessment.

SERVICES WE OFFER

Tasks that we can assist you with include:

  • washing floors
  • cleaning your bathroom
  • cleaning your kitchen
  • cleaning your toilet
  • light dusting
  • essential ironing
  • preparing a shopping list
  • shopping from a list
  • stripping and re-making beds

    AVAILABILITY

    Monday – Friday excluding
    public holidays.
