Vaccines
The TGA has approved 2 vaccines for use in Australia, the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine. This means these vaccines have met the TGA’s rigorous standards for safety, quality and efficacy. It will be free to all Australian residents.

2nd vaccine dose
If you have received your first dose you will be sent an invitation to book your second dose via an sms message or email. If you have any issues or didn’t receive your email, please email vaccinations@greatoceanroadhealth.vic.gov.au .
Booster dose
The booster dose is available to anyone aged 18 and over who had their second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine more than four months ago. A COVID-19 booster helps prevent waning immunity (loss of protection) against COVID-19. Eligible people will receive the Pfizer vaccine as their booster dose. They can safely get this Pfizer dose regardless of which COVID-19 vaccine they received for their initial doses.
